At a Friday press event with Governor Susana Martinez, Mayor Berry, and Jon Barela, who is the cabinet secretary for the state’s economic development department, Fidelity Senior Vice President Shaun McHugh announced that Fidelity Investments in Mesa Del Sol is growing by 200 people.

Fifty have already been hired; the company is looking for 150 more, according to McHugh.

The company is receiving $1.3 million from the state’s Job Training Incentive Program. The average wage will be $16 an hour, according to Governor Martinez.

“Fidelity is indeed growing our business,” McHugh said Friday. “These are great jobs, and it’s a great opportunity for our associates,” he said. “Next week we will be accepting resumes.”

“We know we can get that talent on Albuquerque,” McHugh added.

On Tuesday, June 10, Fidelity will have a job fair.
