Governor Aguilar: Governor Martinez ‘A Caring Leader Who Treats Our Tribal Community With Respect’

“Governor Susana Martinez is a caring leader who treats our tribal community with respect and is willing to fight for us when we need her most,” said Pueblo de San Ildefonso Governor Terry L. Aguilar. “Her willingness to work across the aisle to get things done for all New Mexicans is a breath of fresh air and demonstrates her commitment to moving our state forward.  I am proud to say that the Pueblo de San Ildefonso fully endorses her re-election.”

Governor Martinez has fought for New Mexico’s Native American communities since she took office, including areas such as education, water infrastructure and economic development.  In education, for example, Governor Martinez’s reforms have made a significant impact, with a higher percentage of Native American students now graduating from high school.
